Autism assessments are available for children over 5 years and adults. All assessments are done using zoom video.

You may apply for NDIS with autism Level 2 and 3. Often a single clinician diagnosis is accepted when done by a clinical psychologist. However, NDIS may ask for additional information such as a letter from a paediatrician and/or speech pathologist to confirm the diagnosis for children or a psychiatrist for adults. This is in keeping with National Guidelines for best practice for autism assessments.

Please be aware that psychologists cannot prescribe or make recommendations about medication. Medication is prescribed by paediatricians and psychiatrists

No you don't need a referral.

Yes there are Medicare rebates if you have a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist, and you're under 25 years of age. You will need a GP referral to one of these specialists.

Yes, you may need to see a paediatrician for a child or a psychiatrist for an adult, for NDIS and school funding. Often a report from a clinical psychologist is adequate to meet the criteria.

A 50% deposit is taken at the time of booking to confirm the appointment. If the deposit is not received within 7 days of booking and we haven't heard from you, the appointment may be cancelled. ​The balance is due the day of the assessment.

Your report is available after the follow-up session - about 2 weeks after the assessment interview.

Payments can be made using direct deposit or card (an additional service fee is applied by Stripe.)
