Medication is prescribed by paediatricians and psychiatrists
IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT MEDICATION
In April 2024 the law changed so you can now see a psychiatrist or paediatrician anywhere in Australia. Scripts can now be filled across state borders.
Previously you could only get a script from a specialist in your state and have it filled in your state. Now, you can get a script written from anywhere in Australia using telehealth platforms and have it filled. This opens up much more opportunity to get in to see someone sooner. Waitlists may be shorter in other states.
If your main goal is to access medication, you may wish to go directly to a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

ADHD Assessment for Adults $1400
The assessment includes one session of 50-60 minutes, plus a 30 minute feedback session to review the report together and discuss any questions you may have.
Before investing in an assessment you can take this quiz to find out if you may benefit from an assessment.
ADHD Assessment with an Autism Assessment $3300
Save $700
Research shows that around 50-70% of people who have autism/are autistic also have ADHD.
If you or your child is having an autism assessment, you can add on an ADHD assessment for an additional $700. The reason it works out cheaper is that the results for the ADHD assessment will be included into the autism assessment report, saving time on some aspects of writing a report and having additional sessions.
